His surf clothing brand Outerknown just recently introduced the APEX Trunk after 2 years of development. Sustainably engineered the APEX trunk is produced with 86% recycled polyester, a raw material created by taking plastic bottles and transforming them into a premium polyester fiber. The surf trunks were made in partnership with Aquafil utilizing discarded fishing nets.
